Proactively Planning for Long-Term Care

proactiv e long-term care planning
Proactive long-term care planning is usually less expensive than reacting in a crisis.

No one wants to think about needing long-term care. But, as we’re living longer and longer, the chance that we’ll need it becomes greater and greater. There are things that can be done long before the care is needed, and, as in most things in life, proactive planning generally costs less than crisis reaction. This article has some good information about proactive long-term care planning.

Here at Manasota Elder Law, we only do proactive planning (not crisis spend-downs) and we assist families who have the support network available which will allow them to take advantage of using an irrevocable trust to protect some of their assets for the future.
