Tim Clark – Client Services Manager

Hello, I’m Tim Clark, the Client Services Manager at Manasota Estate Planning. I’m generally the first person you’ll speak with when you call the office.

I was born and raised in the Seattle area, where I gained a great appreciation for the outdoors. When I was 13, my family moved to Mt. Prospect, Illinois, and shortly thereafter to Sulphur Springs, Texas.

I couldn’t wait to carry on my family’s Navy tradition (3 generations) so I enlisted in the U.S. Navy’s Delayed Entry Program as a senior in high school. I went to Boot Camp in Orlando, and then to the first of MANY schools. It was in Orlando that I met the love of my life, Cindy!

We were married in Waukegan, Illinois while I was learning my new rate (job), Fire Control – which means “firing” and “controlling” the ship’s weapons systems. These weapons systems included the Vulcan Phalanx (CIWS) system, the Tomahawk cruise missile system and several radar systems.

I’ve served aboard two destroyers, the USS Dyess (DD-880) and the USS Jonas Ingram (DD-938), and two aircraft carriers, the USS Nimitz (CVN-68) and the USS John F Kennedy (CV-67). I was deployed on the Kennedy during Desert Shield/Desert Storm for the duration of the Gulf War. When I wasn’t stationed onboard a ship, I was teaching new sailors about the Tomahawk Cruise Missile System.

I retired from the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. After I retired, I worked for several years in residential construction and then became a security officer. Before joining Manasota Estate Planning, I was the Account Manager (head security guard) for eight years at the lovely, over-55, gated community where my mother-in-law lives.

Working in a law office for the past four years has been a new experience for me, but providing excellent customer service has been important in all of my positions. Oh, and in case you noticed the same last names, yes, I’m married to the boss!

You wonder whether your granddaughter will think of you fondly when you’re not around anymore.

You want to make sure someone will love and care for your dog, horse, or parrot when you can’t.

Your spouse doesn’t share your love for guns, and you fear your collection could be sold for almost nothing – or even destroyed – instead of being passed on to your children or others who share your passion.

Contact us today. We can help.
